Hi, I'm Leslie
I know deep down in my bones life has prepared me over and over to be able to teach this course. Throughout my life, since being a fetus in the womb until now I have had opportunity after opportunity to learn how to accept, allow, let go of control and SURRENDER.
I wish I could say I learned the lesson early on. The truth is it has taken many trials, failures and deep pain (that I want to prevent for you in your life) for me to *TRULY* know, understand and FEEL what it means to surrender in my life.
As most women in our society, I have been conditioned to believe if I work hard, perform, try, fix and control I can make ish happen and figure it out. I wasn't taught about honoring my intuition and flowing with my nature cycles. In fact for years I would pride myself on how many things I did in a day and my internal value was gauged by how long my days were and how much I accomplished.
I distinctly remember my head hitting the pillow each night overly exhausted, burn out and worst of all, resentful.
Life felt hard, it felt like an uphill climb and like I was missing the sweetest parts.
I could feel in my core I wasn't moving through life the way I had been designed to as a feminine being.
It wasn't until...
I found out I was pregnant unexpected and definitely unplanned with a fairly new partner that I was met with yet another (and probably the biggest) opportunity to learn how to surrender.
